It's been an absolute pleasure dealing with the folks at Smith & Wight while I was looking for a new pair of glasses, Dr. Karim and his team (Irfan and Yasmeen) spent their time and effort trying to fit me with the most ideal pair of glasses. I really appreciate it! I will definitely back! Their selection on frames is endless! From the most common to the most niche brands. Can't wait to be back to look for a new pair when the time comes again!
Outstanding service, products and all round EVERYTHING. I searched for years for cutting edge, innovative and more creative frames. I've been disappointed time and time again over the last decade. Then my friend told me I absolutely needed to come here.
I bought SEVEN pairs. I was flabbergasted. Every step of the service chain from testing, to selection/recommendation, to order validation, to lens centering, to sizing and finally to trial was unlike any other experience with another locale before. Karim and his team are unparalleled. I almost want to keep this place a secret because I now have frames that are unlike anything else on market.
The previous two Opticians I tried even messed up my prescriptions. They spent no time at all really on ensuring my glasses would be centered properly. After I bought them I honestly couldn't see properly. They refused to do anything about it and suggested they just add extra nose pads to make the frames sit higher. It was atrocious.
Coming to Smith and Wight was so different that I cannot say enough. Every service agent stops by to say hello and chat. It's unbelievable. I am so thrilled. And will be coming back time and time again!
I have bought all of my glasses from Smith and Wight since 1985. Have always received first rate service and also have my eye check-up done on site. They have a selection of frames which is second to none and if you are like me and am not sure what to pick, they always make excellent frame suggestions which I have received many compliments on. My family, several siblings and other relatives trust them for our eyeglasses needs.
I honestly have not had this level of service excellence for decades! First, I have never seen so many different types, shapes, and colour of glasses in one place - literally drawers upon drawers of them. They not only know their product inside out, but the treatment and the custom approach you receive is something most customer service organizations and companies should be learning from. I highly recommend Smith and Wight Opticians for your next and all the following purchases of glasses!
Wonderful experience ❤️ Went for my 3 year old daughter she is very tinny has a really small face . I was worried for her glasses like how will we make her wear the whole day. The owner was so kind with such a good heart he came to us and explained us about the glasses. We are excited to see how our daughter will react once she wears her new glasses. Great staff they will do every single thing to make you comfortable. They even came outside for our daughter as she was more comfortable listening her favourite songs outside. Every single person has a smile they say hello and chat a bit. Thank you so much for your wonderful services !

Aside from the one time that a mistake led to a longer wait time in spite of my appointment, I have zero complaints. The staff are all wonderful, so is the owner. Some companies will offer on the cheap end of things but offer the bare minimum of service, but Smith and Wight are the flip side, more pricey, but also service that you seriously don't mind paying for. Even when I had concerns, they would make sure to ease them at their own expense, I highly recommend them.
Words can't even describe the awesomeness of this place! The service is outstanding and you will be hard pressed to find this kind of service anywhere else. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Karim who goes above and beyond in helping me. I am honestly blown away by the care I have received here. Karim, you are a treasure.
